Overview

The profile info module in the 401k In A Box portal allows you to view and update company information that was gathered during the set-up process for your plan. This module stores your EIN, address, phone number, owner information, and other company information. The information in this module is necessary to your plan as it contains information that we use for filing necessary documents to the IRS for your plan. 

How to Edit Information

1. Login to www.401kinabox.com
2. Navigate to the "Profile Info" module
3. Use the next button to go through each section
4. Edit information
5. Select "Save" or "Save and Exit" once complete

FAQ

• My Profile Info is showing as incomplete- what do I need to do?
  • If we have received all necessary documents for your plan, nothing is needed for the Profile Info module. If you need additional help determining that, please contact support@401kinabox.com.
• I need to change my EIN.
  • Go to the Profile Info module, update the EIN, select "Save"
• I need to change my address.
  • Go to the Profile Info module, update the address, select "Save"
• I need to change my business code.
  • Go to the Profile Info module, update the business code, select "Save"
